Do you think with the new anti-online laws passed that Vegas will once again be like it was in the mid-80"s-90's where there were runners moving money up and down the strip for the big bettors?? I would think people would be nervous of having thier money tied up when the shit hits the fan with all the rest of the online sites like pinny etc etc.
It's just a matter of time is it not??
That being said if you live in Vegas like I do, how does one get a runner job anyway? I bet myself and shop numbers all day around town and would love to get paid for it as well since I'm doing it anyway for myself.
I'm a small dollar to nickel, small dime player. What say you? Anyone living in Vegas need a runner in Vegas?

Uh no. Good luck to you man, but your just not thinking clearly. If a bettor is risking his money in an offshore today, he'll be risking it offshore 5 years from now.

Runners are pretty much gone. Few people bet seriously in Vegas anymore.

Listen, there is NOT ONE real gambler playing sports in Vegas - lay -110 and take whatever line they offer - or lay -104 at Pinnacle or lay -105 to -110 and take a better line - what kind of person who takes this serious would do that?

And, out of curiousity - whose ghost are you? - did your tout business finally go belly up Kodiak?

There are still a few runners left around Vegas. Nowhere near what their once was but there are still a few around. Besides online not as many are needed due to the consolidation of the casinos.

About how many full time sports bettors (those making a living at it) live in Vegas?
I have absolutely no idea and am very curious.

I would wager that there are a few runners left in las vegas. Last trip i made there, the bar tender asked me if i was a runner or playing for myself..(I had left some pretty large losing tickets at this bar and he had seen the amounts i bet. So when i came back some hours later he asked me about it)

REgardless of that. There is no one stupid enough to use runners he doesnt know. (Or could i be mistaken about that?)

Using a runner you don't know --would be beyond stupid and I would think not really necessary to use one at all to make a living low key.
But that's my thinking.

Over or Under 12?

Living in Vegas are there over or under 12 professionals who make a living betting the sportsbooks in Las Vegas? (Forget offshore for the moment)

it depends on how you define the runner in question...Runners dont only work for pros.

and it is also very hard to define what a pro in this game is.

you guys are making way too many assumptions in your theories about the number of pros out in las Vegas.

I would wager that there are hundreds of them. Infact a smart pro would sooner bet in las vegas than offshore. (for privacy reasons, i wont elaborate further on that..)

I'm sure they don't mind cashing out over 10,000.00 and having to show id.

It's actually easier to remain anonymous online.
